To quickly reach your highest level, the only accordion school in the world proposing an intensive full-time vocational training in full housing.
Welcome on the website of the most famous French accordion school, founded in 1995 by Jacques Mornet and Nathalie Boucheix, who today is its manager. The CNIMA welcomes students from the whole world.
l A full-time training from the middle of September to the end of June, in American plan or external accommodation. Classic, jazz or variety accordion, buttons or piano and any system: 6 to 8 hours and more music a day. Free weekends (possibility of staying in school) and French school holidays of the establishment.
l Personalized programs according to your level and objectives, from a few weeks to several months.
l Accordion master classes and training courses from 3 to 5 days, led by the CNIMA’s professors or prestigious guests.
A school operating the all over the world reknown Jacques Mornet’s pedagogy, General Secretary of the World Confederacy of the Accordion ( CMA) and a jury since 40 years of the greatest international contests. The CNIMA is managed by Nathalie Boucheix, holder of two world prizes and also a professor.
An educational system rewarded by 90 first prizes in classic and variety accordion in all the great international competition: a world unique prize list.
In the CNIMA, you will pass or will prepare:
l The French official teaching diplomas : C.F.E.M ., D.E.M, among which D.E.M " Nowadays Musics ", D.E., C.A.
l The entry to the CEFEDEM, to the CNSM (national Paris conservatorium), to the CFMI ( DUMI)...
l A national or international competition.
l A program for a band, ball or concert.
Or you will come for the simple pleasure to work on the French styles.
In a family atmosphere, 100 % music in a place convenient to work.
No age limit, nor entry examination. Possible registration at any levels of instrument and music theory.
Foreign students, you maybe can obtain grants from your country and in France for the housing part. The CNIMA will help you prepare your documents.
